Bob Engelhardt has more than 35 years of experience as a professional dog trainer and handler.

Since 1966 he has trained more than 1,000 dogs of all ages and all breeds.

He learned his craft while serving as a Sentry Dog School Instructor and Sentry Dog Handler in the U.S. Army K-9 Corps. There he provided basic dog training and handler instruction to more than 100 students (or dogs).

He was also the Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge (NCOIC) of the K-9 Section at Fort Belvoir, Virginia where he established the Canine Section 521 MP Company.

He has trained more than 1200 dogs and their owners in the Maryland, Virginia and DC area in their own homes.
